Go up the stairs nearest to the end of the train (if coming from Brussels), and follow the signs for platform 1, not those for the exit! For the Walkers it’s a beastly 6,66 km, and for the Walking Wounded 1,3 km straight to the beer stop, with a Carrefour Express on the way in case they get thirsty early… Since the train arrives quite early, we’ll try to get Chalk Talk done early, so we can actually start trail at 15:00. On After: The Wild Geese (Avenue Livingstone 2-4, 1000 Brussels): lots of food options—vegetarian as well—and even more beer and booze—Baby Guinness anyone?—just 300m from Schuman train/metro station.
